The Contemporary Museum collects outstanding works produced since 1940 by local, regional, national and international artists in a variety of media.  The collection comprises 1,643 works in the following categories: paintings; sculpture and installations; drawings and watercolors; prints; photographs and video works; assemblage; and 335 works of contemporary craft including ceramics; glass; wood and metal; and fiberworks/textiles.
