TCM Capital Improvements News

TCM will keep this site updated to the best of our abilities.

Please contact us if you have any questions: Office Coordinator Gordon Wong 526-1322, watchusgrow@tcmhi.org

From our Director Georgianna Lagoria:

We are continuing with our progress on our planned capital improvements. If you stroll our grounds, you will see that other changes are taking place. A mock-up of the glass exterior of our new collection wing has been installed on the tennis court, the future site of the new building. With this partial glass wall, architects Frederick Fisher and Partners are testing the look and fabrication of the building’s reflective skin. Also, the large-scale ceramic work by Viola Frey Two Women and the World has been taken off view in order to be conserved. The kinetic metal sculpture by George Rickey Broken Column has been recently retored and is now back on view.

View through the newly re-exposed windows in TCM’s William Twigg-Smith Gallery. The renovation along with the upgraded climate-control system is just one part of the museum’s ongoing capital improvements.

WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AT THIS TIME
