Exquisite Vessels III: Recent Acquisitions from The Contemporary Museumâs Collection Acquired through the Sibyl Heide Fund

This exhibition unveils recent additions to The Contemporary Museumâs collection of contemporary vessels acquired with the support of the Sibyl Heide Fund. Since 1992 Sibyl Heide has annually given funds to TCM to purchase objects by many of the finest contemporary artists working in ceramic, metal, glass, fiber, wood and other materials. This exhibition, the third in the Exquisite Vessels series, presents vessels acquired from 1999 to present. Works on display include vessels by Richard DeVore, Adrian Saxe, Luo Xiao Ping, Petrus Spronk, Dennis Nahabetian, June Schwarz, Donald Derry, Christian Burchard, Rene Megroz and Jacques Vesery.
